Our Mission
A stronger learning community begins when students share what they know.
MoCoScholar's mission is to help connect those who have taken math and computer science classes that align with MCPS curricula with those stepping into that new experience for the first time. Students who have taken classes in these subjects in MCPS schools can share helpful notes, videos, and insight for others to use while taking those classes.
By providing an easy way for students to request explanations of topics and for students to upload their helpful materials and videos. The process isn't unidirectional, however. Students seeking guidance can also provide guidance to those who need it.
MoCoScholar should be a platform that allows students to succeed in their classes and feel confident that they are making a change in the community. Resources in Spanish, English, French, and other languages may be available on the platform, depending on the availability of tutors and previous students.
